Why does the Mindroom work?

This is what the Italian National Soccer team discovered on their way to winning the World Cup in 2006 when they focused on bio and neurofeedback training along with guided imagery and relaxation techniques which to the International media became known as the “Mind Room.” Subsequently, a MindRoom has been developed at Chelsea FC, Real Madrid FC, and also utilized for military Special Forces teams and NASA astronaut t training.
From 2007-2010, Dr Pierre Beauchamp developed a Peak Sport Performance Mindroom for the Olympic Short Track speedskating team. The importance of performing in a relaxed state is especially important during a major event such as the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games. The Mindroom helped the Canadian team to reach that relaxed state of heightened intuition, creativity and energy know as “flow” or “in the zone” when they needed it most under pressure and on demand in front of millions of spectators and television viewers world wide.
More recently in 2010, the Vancouver Canucks have developed a Mindroom termed "Mind Gym" under the direction of their Director of Sport Science Dr. Len Zaichkowsky utilizing a variety of sport science technology.
